Problem

Covid-19 has forced society into isolation and loneliness. According to a survey conducted by the US Census Bureau, 13% of adults reported new or increased substance use due to coronavirus-related stress, and 11% of adults reported thoughts of suicide in the past 30 days.

Goal

To create a virtual experience that focuses on creating a community through art for people that are struggling with mental health.

Challenges

The biggest challenge with this project was trying to encompass the entirety of my idea in the two-month span of my class. If I had the time, I would have wanted to delve into more research in order to incorporate evidence-based practices to best benefit those struggling with Mental Health.
